Undressing and Draping:
Most sessions are most effective if you undress completely to receive it. Of course, your comfort is the most important thing. If you feel more comfortable leaving your underwear on, you are welcome to do so.
My draping is very secure, but it is less conservative than conventional salons or spas. Please read our draping policy. I will communicate about your options related to the different degrees of coverage.
Yoga is both Energizing and rejuvenating. Good for pain relief and healing. Taking private classes allows us to tailor your practice to your needs, at whatever level you are. Based on the information you provide, together we will work together to create a yoga practice (blend of yoga postures, breath awareness, meditation, and other yoga techniques) to address your needs.
Yoga Therapy is a method of healing that focuses on the person as a whole, rather than just treating a specific health condition. Recipients of Yoga Therapy can capture the well-established benefits of yoga without actually doing yoga. As the practitioner gently moves you into yoga-like poses, tight joints are opened, energy flows freely, and breathing is enhanced. A meditative state becomes part of the process, as both you and the therapist focus on breath and intention. We focus on Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Yoga for 12 Step Recovery, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Vinyasa Yoga. The practice is tailored for your individual needs and Yoga treatment plans.
A trauma-based approach to yoga makes the practice safer and more accessible, addressing the unique needs of trauma survivors. Trauma doesn’t just affect the mind — it can also be held in the body. This means that mind-body practices like yoga can be challenging, and even harmful, for those who have endured any form of trauma — whether acute or complex. Trauma-informed yoga teachers are trained to be conscious of trauma and understand how trauma intersects with the practice. A safe, secure, and predictable environment surrounded by a like-minded community is the foundation for this type of practice.
Myofascial release refers to the technique of applying gentle pressure on 'trigger points' to release tension in the connective tissues or fascia that bind and support our muscles, organs, bones, joints, nerve fibers and other structures of our body. Releasing this tension helps to alleviate pain and improve flexibility and mobility of the body

A Fitness and wellness coach, is a supportive guide who helps clients set health goals, whether to lose weight, improve energy, better manage stress, and much more. In addition to being a mentor who holds clients accountable, health and wellness coaches are vital members of the greater healthcare team, bridging the gap between traditional healthcare and enacting sustainable and positive behavioral lifestyle changes.
